We have so much to be thankful for.  We have a wonderful family and friends.  We also have the smartest, cutest, little girl.  She amazes us with what she has learned each day. 

Right now she is loving Elmo.  Santa I hope you are reading this.  Any time she sees a picture of him she says "Elmo."  It is super cute.  Each day is a blessing.  :)

I can't believe that a year has gone by already.  It seems like just yesterday she was born.  She is growing up too fast.

9 months!!!

I can not believe that Madison is 9 months old already.  Time is going by too fast.  Today she had her 9 month well check and she did fabulous.

Coach's Night 2011

Today Madi got to meet Reveille for the first time.  We all went to Aggie Coach's Night to hear Coach Sherman talk about the team and eat some yummy BBQ.  We started off pretty good.  She did very well.  She got to have a pic with Reveille and walk around the Travis Co Expo.  Toward the end of the night mommy and Madi had to leave to go to the car.  She got way fussy.  All in all, it was a great night and we even ended up on the news.

We also took a pic with the National Champion trophies and that picture will posted when we receive it.

Look what Madi did today.  She's walking a lot more now and she is getting so much better.  Pretty soon she's gonna be running.

I guess she couldn't decide which paci she wanted.

 Oh, and by the way...last Thursday she took one step at school and then on Sunday she took 3 steps many times throughout the day.  I am still trying to get that on video.  I don't know if I am ready for her to be walking yet...

well, for a little bit.  She did this at my mom's house yesterday.  This was the 4th or 5th time she stood on her own.

Today Madi got to play in her pool in the backyard.  She really liked it and I think being outside made her extra tired...we got to sleep in till 7 the next day!

She really liked the grass and I think Rowdy thought the pool was his water bowl.  He kept drinking the water. 

Growing too fast

Since I last posted so much has happened. First of all, summer has begun and we find ourselves enjoying the time off. Unfortunately we were hit by the budget cuts and Charles lost his job. We are thinking positively though and hoping and praying that something good will come our way.

Madi has grown so much in the past few months its crazy. She is now 7 1/2 months old and is crazy full of energy. We love her more and more each day. She is eating solid foods now, teething, crawling, pulling up, and walking behind a push toy. Yes, that's right I said WALKING. She's not ready to do it on her own yet, but I think it will be coming really soon. Here's a little peek at what she has been up to.

Rice cereal take 1

4 months

Mommy has been playing catch up with the family blog and Madi has turned 4 months old. At her well check she weighed 12 lbs 5 oz and was 22.8n inches long. We also found out that she had her first ear infection. BOOO!

Madi's first snow

It snowed here on Jan 3. The day before we took her to the doctor and found out she had an upper respiratory infection. She didn't get to play much in the snow, but we did take some pics.

A week later...

She rolled over from her back to her belly.

Roly Poly Girl

On January 22 Madi rolled over from her belly to her back.

Madi weighs 10 lbs 6 oz and is 22.25 inches long.
Shes cooing up a storm and is smiling. She can also hold her head up while on her tummy. She is growing so fast.

Here's what you missed...

While I was away from the computer, here is what happened...

Madison was born October 19 at 12:00 am! I was 6 lbs and 6 oz and 19.25 inches long.




After that I got to stay home for 2 1/2 months to take care of her. Now I am about to head back to school. During that time...we had a lot of fun. Especially during Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

First Halloween -she was sleeping.

At one month she weighed 7 lbs 6 oz.

At Thanksgiving she was also sleeping.

At Christmas she was awake for some of it, but not for the presents.

Happy New Year

I haven't posted in so long because we have been super busy with our new arrival. Now it is time to play catch up.
